Parga
Parga is a small town on the Ionian coast of the mainland, just between the towns of Igoumenitsa and Preveza in the region of Epirus.
A characteristic attraction of Parga is the historical castle which overlooks and protects the nestled little town and its’ amazing beaches.
Near the town centre is Krioneri beach, to the west of the town (beyond the castle) is Valtos beach, and 4km to the west of the town is Lichnos beach.
Parga is a good base for day excursions to Sivota, Preveza, Ioannina, Zagoria and even Lefkada. While simultaneously offering easy walking access to three great beaches – Parga Town Beach / Kryoneri, Valtos Beach and Lichnos Beach.
